Josh Martin has passed NVQ Engineering Level 2 and will be moving onto to study for NVQ Engineering Level 3.
Thomas Keating welcomes Sam Martin to begin his toolmaking apprenticeship. First year training will cover the manufacture of personal equipment using traditional skills to our proven designs dating back to the early 1940's.
After completing his first year training covering the manufacture of personal equipment, Josh Martin has moved to our Bostomatic 32GS milling centre. His training will cover both operation and programming.
Congratulations to Nick Stone and Thierry Chapman for each passing both ONC in Mechanical Engineering and NVQ Engineering Level 3. Thierry will continue working along side our skilled toolmakers and Nick has moved to our experienced Jig Grinding department. Nick is continuing to study for a HND Mechanical Engineering.
Thomas Keating has made further investment with the acquisition of an Agie AC Progress VP2 Wire EDM. Being sited in our temperature controlled area and having Ø0.05mm wire technology, we can satisfy the ever increasing demands of the injection mould, defence, scientific and space industries.
