Fourier transform polarising
interferometer for the far infrared
Since 2004 QMC Instruments Ltd. and Blue Sky Spectroscopy Inc. have been working together to produce customised spectroscopic solutions.
Blue Sky Spectroscopy Inc. provides custom spectroscopic solutions with emphasis on infrared and submillimetre Fourier transform spectrometers (FTS). They specialise in complete system development from the optical, mechanical and electronic design through to manufacture, assembly, integration and verification of state-of-the-art instrumentation. All systems are developed under tight project management and include extensive documentation and test data.
Medium resolution polarising spectrometer with an arc lamp as the source and a cryogenic bolometer system readout
These FTS's utilise rapid scan Martin-Puplett polarizing interferometer instrumentation giving a a maximum unapodized spectral resolution of 0.033 cm-1 over the wavelength range 15 to 100 cm-1. The FTS is a standalone system that is built to order, and is delivered with a windows based PC for instrument control, data acquisition and data analysis.
